About Me

I am an artist, ceramicist, printmaker and writer living in beautiful Devon and making work from discarded and broken ceramics and other found materials, including words.

Repurposing Ceramics

My ceramics practice is about creating something new and beautiful out of the broken and unwanted, as well as encouraging others to think about what they throw away. I am excited by the potential I see in things (especially old and broken things) to become part of a new object that doesn’t exist until I make it. When does something become useless? It’s about looking at it from a different perspective.

Exploring Printmaking

Using various printmaking techniques, such as linoprinting, monoprinting, etching, screenprinting and cyanotypes, I experiment with layering images to create depth and I enjoy playing with narrative.
